On "Car Crazy" they mentioned a car show that I believe is weekly--at a restaurant -- anyone know where that is or anything else in the next couple of weeks in London, England?

The evening of Wednesday 5th September is the End of Summer Riot at the Ace Cafe - great night with a good selection of cars, good food, good music. There are meetings for different types of cars and bikes most nights of the month, but I 'd guess the Riot is the most HAMB-oriented.

I'm sure a ****ney character will be along shortly to give the heads-up on anything else going on up the Smoke.

  5. Think you'll find when you land, that'll be 23/08/07 - 03/09/07...

Cl***ic bike sprint out at North Weald airstrip on the 2nd if you can get out there - one step past the magic roundabout.

NASC Nationals in Ipswich, Suffolk from the 24th-27th. On my doorstep but I won't be going...

Sadly London appears to be run by a car-hating Commie dictatorship nowadays, so don't count on finding too much of interest! Saturday 25th is the last Saturday of the month, so there should be a cruise down in Chelsea (Kings Road and The Embankment), but even that has been coming under pressure.

Yes, car-wise you ARE lucky to live in the USA!

Well, this is outside London a bit, and it is mostly those funny little sporty cars. But it is where I would be in a heartbeat.

  10. Go to Goodwood.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Ah - yes, there's always Goodwood! Baby Austins being swatted like flies by Galaxies and Mustangs.

And some other old sports cars and such....

Pound or 2 too rich for me, but if it was my holiday. THAT's where I'd aim for!

If you fancy going furhter afield then you could always go down to the hotrod drags this weekend.
