It's Mon.10:27 P.M........Do you know where your Hot Rod engine is? ;)
Here is part of mine, the crank and 1 head are at the machine shop, ready to be gathered up in the morning.
Still have a pin hole in a water jacket that at the present time looks to be relatively irrepairable.:( (I'll think of something)LOL
To make matters worse,it's self inflicted.
However I still intend to be there with bells on.:D
Anyone else working through a little 13th hour drama?

Hahah, my buddy Eric, (lurker) just picked up a core th400 tonight at 11:15 to replace his broken case on his Gene Swartz clone g***er....So he has to rebuild it and put it in before we hit the road on Wed....So your not alone, and you can get it done. Don

sounds like some of those last min. gremlins are cruisin your garages ....... too !
I took the 37` out sunday to a car show in salida co. , as I pulled up to register , the frickin clutch peddal went to the floor ....
I got out and saw a small trail of brake fluid behind me , looking under the truck I saw fluid running out of the bellhousing
I got lined up and parked my truck , with some pushing help from some fellow car show folks ... the show was awesome , met alot of new people and had alot of fun b.s.ing ........
my freind animal showed up , drove his 56` plymouth from hooper co. ....... after the show he ran me over to where I had my truck and trailor parked , got the 37` loaded and headed home , ran into a rain storm , had a blowout on the trailor , thats about all that happened
pulled the trans that nite , found that the bleed hose for the hyd. throwout brg had a hole in it from the pressure plate ....... had a new hose in and up and running by 9:00
thanks to animal for your help , nice to have freinds , that are true freinds !!!!

see you all at mokan !

Pinhole in the water jacket? My hemi block has several impressive cracks on the right side. The machinest I had used didn't notice the cracks till he was done. :-/ They looked like they had been silver soldered and he said they wouldn't leak but he was wrong. I did some welding on them so they don't open up and then a healthy layer of JB weld. After a couple of years is twa weaping some so a couple of nights ago I cleaned off the loose JB and put some more on. Jury rigged... yes but it's held so far.

I'm feeling like I may have to show up in the late model, to many small things left to do on my '57 for the 1,100 mile trip (each way). I was going to have tomorrow off to work on it, but **** happens. Oh well, I can carry more beer this way.
