So, I pretty much follow all things automotive, but my first two loves in the world are real hot rods and all things on nitro. For now, while I'm young enough and dumb enough, I'll focus on getting my funny car done and running. I keep saying that the main thing holding me up is making a body for the car. Everytime I'm asked when I'll make a body for the car, I tell people I've already done it,,, the count is up to 8 or 9 now. I make one,,, the phone rings, another body leaves the shop.

Why I've not registered for this forum yet? Who knows,,, I check it out often,,, see a few familiar names, a few who know me,,, sorry for that LOL.

Ok,, enough of this ramble,,, time to justify my financial existence.

Oh,, I saw a thread on old funny cars,,, for those who don't know, or have not seen,, here is something for your amu*****t.

I wondered where on the WWW you've been, Dale. You'll like it here. Welcome, man.

Gonna make it to the CHRR?

Piss off Dale we don't want any of you funny car ****ers taking up space here <VBG>. The next thing you know we will have Gaynor over here stirring up trouble.
Are you going to the CHHR next month? We plan to be there with Mark's new FED if we don't break anything beforehand.

  13. Hey man, this is a '64 and earlier board! That funny car is nine years too new!

Relax, I'm just goofing on you... I read all the way thru your articles on the FC body - that's cool. Really cool. Thanks for putting that up on the WWW; I'm always impressed by the creativity and ingenuity of people - if I ever spend any bandwidth on something other than ***ties and ebay...

Hey Roo,,, not going to make it out this time. I've been taking it easy this year dealing with a pile of personal stuff. Pretty much got it all cleared out of the way, so perhaps next year I'll be busy with racing again.

Them old Plymouths were cool! I think the most successful was one driven by Dale Armstrong, Alcoholic.

    Good times them old floppers.
