here are a couple of teaser pics oz sent me tonight. i had to share these with somebody. for those of you that didnt see the build up article in rod & kulture, here is an earlier shot of it as well. the last picture is the reflection in the door of oz taking the picture. the car was used to tow a drag boat in the 60's, so the bottom of the car was really rusted. oz replaced from 9" up all the way around the car. i cant say enough about his quality. hopefully i will have another update in a few weeks. we will be debuting it at cow palace in january. zombie
OK so what, you took a pic of the floor at the shop. O0oohhh, thats a reflection! Haha. MAN that thing is nice!
wow !!!!!!!. oz and kyle never cease to amaze me . AND they are both very nice guys . cannot wait to see that car in person . congrats zombie AND oz/kyle .. donnie
you're right. i did forget to mention his son cyote. he has been a huge part of this build as well. those guys rock. as far as the new issue, it should be out in the next week or so, and we are going bi-monthly after the first of the year.
Bi monthly, that's the best news I've heard in a long time!! Loved the wagon from the first pic you ran, can't wait to see more.
I was wondering the other day when you were gonna show an update. It looks real good, I cant wait to see the new issue.
Love the wagon!! When I saw the build pictures in the Mag I about lost my jaw. The rear view of the wagon is pure ****er. Way too Kool. Thanks for the update. Good luck with the rest of the build. Happy Trails, Mick
oz and cyote rock. we should be picking it up in a couple weeks. just got the new 3 duece intake and carbs for the 364. nothing newer than 57 on this car, other than the bags. i cant wait for cow palace. muhahahaha. what started off as a cool old wagon to haul mags to the shows, has turned into a pretty cool custom. thanks again oz.
Holy **** that black is some deep stuff! I ussually dont like wagons, but this car is BAD *** straight up. Nice paint especially.
Oz is doing a buddy of mines 61 ford wagon right now too.. He is a good guy, knows his ****! I just posted a thread about my '56 buick wagon, not as cool as a pillarless one, but it meant something to me, anyways, I am trying to get it all put together and finnished for the cow palace too! that is goign to be a fun show this year, can't wait. see you there with the buick man Love the car, looks amazing!!
wow thats gonne be the **** with the chrome put back on. Please tell me your leaving the already perfect grill as is, it would be hard to make it better than the original Harley Earl.
hey brent, i've seen the 61. it was cool the first time he painted it. it had a logo from some hotel or something on the door. i've seen your buick on some other posts, i love it. thats pretty much what we had in mind when we started on this one. you never know what is going to happen when you drop something off at oz's place though. ha ha. leadslead olds, yes. we are leaving the grill. we're just removing the center bar. these cars were *****en straight off the showroom floor. you dont realize how much chrome was on these ****ers until you get the chrome bill. ha ha. zombie
cool man, he will have the '61 at the SF show too, the reason it is back at Oz's was because it had a problem with the clear, but it should look bad *** now! and it is called the Ranchotel, old farm hotel off the side of the road, you can see it when you p*** through our town to the bigger cities, it was the familys car that owns the hotel for years! cant wait to see your wagon done man, its going to be fun putting all that chrome back on! My '56 doesnt have nearly as much chrome, but still has a lot and it is a pain!!
