Removing B Pilers

    Hey everyone! Looking for any info on removing the B pilers . I have a 52 FORD TUDOR SEDAN . Info from re moving all the way to making windows work thanks for any help :confused:

    most people who remove the b pillars dont have windows that roll up.

    that said, look at window mechanics on cars that have zero b pillars and explore how similar will work on your car-- particularly the ones that angle forward as they come up. im thinking along the lines of how my lincoln works.

    im interested in seeing pics how people have done this. its an interesting challenge.

    why dont you try and round up some mechanisms and window frames from a victoria or a hardtop in your year or a 53,54 or so and adapt them to fit.

    I think the trick is to weld the tops of the door pillars to the roof first, then cut out the pillar and make the windows work. That way, when the windows roll up, they match up with the tops of the doors where they were originally.

    Still a ton of work, way easier to start with a '52 2 door hardtop and go from there.

    looks like its going to be a long road ahead but thats part of the fun
