Deuce of Spades Movie With the interest shown in Faiths upcoming Deuce of Spades movie and realizing she needs all the financial help she can get, I thought I’d post this so members of the HAMB could contribute directly. You can access the contributions page by going to: http://www.bettatalk.com/deuce_of_spades_home.htm Click on contributions and follow instructions The money goes directly to Faith and I’m not involved other than posting this message. Note that you may have to back your Internet sensitivity settings off a bit or it may not let you in. Turn off your popup blocker as well. The HAMB will get an on-screen credit as well as being featured in one or two scenes of the movie proper. There hasn’t been a hot rod movie featuring traditional hot rods since American Graffiti. This is our opportunity to help bring this production to the public and enlighten them to a bit of American history. Something not many hot rodders get to do financially or in an advisory position. For more information, weekly updates and photos pertaining to the movie, see the HAMB thread at: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=197607 You can check out the Deuce of Spades official website at: http://deuceofspadesmovie.com This post subject has the approval of Ryan Cochran
Cool, I'd been wanting to do that for a while. Done deal. Awesome project by someone who's passionate about the cause.
Geez . . . it's starting to feel like I'm the Lone Ranger out here. Surely more HAMB'rs than have posted above are interested in this movie. A five dollar donation from just 10% of us would go a long way in helping the movie get to the finished state.
alright, i'm in. i didn't really read much of the first post about this movie, but, it's gotta be alright.
I think when some one is raising funds, she should at least make the request herself. Besides I thought this was a Automotive forum, Not the Hallmark channel. CBB
I'm guessing that Faith thought perhaps it would be in bad taste to solicit voluntary donations herself and I took it upon myself to help her out via the HAMB. As far as the HAMB being the Hallmark Channel, not so. It's a traditional hot rod forum and the movie fits right into the genre. If you don't want to donate, no problem....
