I've been on Ryan's Garage Journal site looking for ideas too, but the guys over there are very diverse, you know.....BMW and new Vetts and rice burners . I like looking at garages on this site because hot rodders just seem to have more neat ****. Here's a few pic's of my on going project.......
Well, this thread has given me a serious case of garage envy and there's no little blue pill I can take for that. So here's my small little insignificant pipsqueak of a garage. The empty space in the foreground is where my wife parks her daily.
think I should be looking for a Garage Enlargement Patch.....I have a single car garage that's full of **** and an A roadster!!! to do any work in the garage I have to angle the car slightly so I can stand next to it!!!
I found the antidote for garage envy and recently built a new shop. This is an updated picture with all my junk inside. Now, if I can just get it organized enough to get back to work on some projects....
Reposting some of my stuff from another thread... The engine-corner... 'Entrance'... Top-view of the carlifts... Benchrace-loft...
No, its not a Morton. I checked them out along with some others, and Morton was the most expensive. Supposed to be the Cadillac of metal buildings though. I ended up using a local outfit and I'm happy with the results.
Alright, Kev, how in the hell do you keep that place so clean? I mean I do my best in my garage, but I could never keep any magazines in there, the welding smoke alone would kill them (not to mention the grinding dust, sparks, or slag). I mean come on, if you got a secret way to contain that stuff so it doesn't spread all over, share, PLEASE.
haha, i was thinking the same thing...... he must not do anything seriously, his stuff is tops man........he has more stuff than i do but his garage still looks great.......mine's a trash hole.....i have spent the last two weeks making it look much better!
KiwiKev, You really got issues man, I don't know what kind yet but you sure got some issues.... Coolest place ever... !
Wow....I am sure impressed by these amazing garages, and the potential within them. Great work spaces.....now I know what to get my guy for his Birthday!
That is the back half of my garage. Most of the heavy work is done outside. My place gets messy pretty quick too but I don't let it stay real bad for long.
i really am trying to change my habbits....taking time to clean up after a job........i've noticed that it really makes other projects go a LOT faster when you know where everything is... if i'm ever out that way some time, i want to see all of your junk, er, stuff
Getting pretty crowded in there Kev. Do I have to come visit again to give you a reason to "tidy up"? You're garage is like a continuously changing work in progress, depending on what you are working on !! But its always *****in'...........
I'm a little confused, I thought these were two names for the same thing. Either way I'm still jealous. I've lived in smaller houses than that, but if it were my choice I'd just live in the garage.
I'm kind of all blown apart right now in my garage. You guys have some amazing stuff!!! Here's a picture I took last night...
HOLY ****!!!, After looking at all these cool garages and all the cool stuff in um...encluding front engine dragsters!!! and now looking out my window at my garage, I think I need to go back and find that thread about depression and anxiety!........Way Cool guys!!
Well, I don't want to brag or anything I know you guys get garage envy, and I know you guys give people with money and nice garages a hard time.... but I have a pretty good job and some junk sitting around......
