Thanks for posting such a great story...kinda humbling when I think how many cars I've gone through and probably got less enjoyment out of.

that's amazing. I got my caddy while engaged, and after 6 yrs, she wants me to get rid of it. Not happenin, if I can help it. I hope to pass mine on to my son someday, or maybe just keep on cruisin. Wish me luck.

  21. Great story, thanks for posting it!! His great-grandson nailed it when he said:

“I’d love to keep on with the tradition of driving the car,” said his great-grandson, Mike Zenisky, 16, of Shelton. “It’s kind of a symbol of the love my great-grandfather and great-grandmother had for each other.”

Great story. Thanks for sharing. I have a neighbor who has a 1928 Model A touring that's been in his family since new.It was his grandfathers first car and handed down to his father.
It was ina barn on the property a few years ago when the roof started to collapse. They pulled the car out a few days before the barn fell.
My neighbor has restored it just enough for him and his father to drive it around town and the only items replaced are ones that wore out, like belts and hoses and fuel lines. They did rebuild the lower half a number of years ago but that's it.
You should see the grin on the old guys face when they tool around town in it !!!Priceless.
