hey everybody,I`m new to the forum but I`ve checked it out for awhile.I`m working on a 41 Cadillac coupe with a 346 Cad flathead,I`m going to make a driver out of it,12 volt and newer carb,I want to try some flat black paint,44% smoked glass.I also want to do most of the work myself and learn everything I can! Did I mention that the block has a crack ,its weldable, this is my first car project and we have a new baby and not much of a budget,so it should be a piece of cake ,a few more horsepower too! Bring on any Cad flathead knowledge Thanks TC
yes I have a bunch,I`d have to get the wife to help pull them up,never done the forum thing.Right now not much to see,It`s stripped down and I`m starting the sheetmetal patching and rust stripping on the interior.I have some pics when I got it with all trim etc.. The thing was the previous owner just sprayed heavy primer over the old paint and rust .So I wire wheeled it all off and primed it.Anyway I`ll try and put them up this weekend.Do you have a staight 8 in the buick? TC
what part of oregon? the only thing better than a 41 cpe is a 41 conv. nice car how are you building it
I,ve been trying to post some other pictures, but I don`t know the drill, can anyone idiot proof it for me? I`m in Springfield Oregon, The 3 percent rule applies here"you should be 3 percent smarter than the equipment you`re working with",so far I`m getting my ass kicked. Thanks TC
