Bonneville Bound?!

Afew of you old Hambers may remember me as Kiwitinbasher.A few of you may have even seen my Chevy 6 powered `31 A Sedan at the Salt last year.Which brings me to my early,but hopefully not too O/T announcement.This year will be the 20th Anniversary of my first (and life changing) trip to the Flats.I`m driving the Sedan all the way this year,and plan on leaving from the Chevron Station in Troutdale,just East of Portland (Oregon,not Maine) very early on the morning of Friday 13th August.It would be the Icing on the cake to Caravan there with a few Hot Rodders driving their Hot Rods.Anyone interested.....?

 

Your caravan is a little outta my way, but I plan to go this year for the 1st time... I wanna make a motorcycle trip out of it... unless of course, I have a running hotrod by then that leaks less oil than the bike...

Joking about the paint, If my Hemi car is on the road I'll meet you in Troutdale on my way to Mokan. I'll probably have to drive in first gear to stay with you

Pauls a hot rodders hot rodder, this car was going to be his $2000 hot rod and I don't think he missed it by much. He's Donn Lowe's right hand man and does metal finishing and all phases of rod building on some of the coolest cars in the country. He's way to modest to say this, so he paid me to do it for him LOL

last post Rocky was heading home to auction the rest of his dad's place.and scout around for his Model A.
I don't think he's been to Portland he usually stops by both of our places

 

Gl*** is easy, but will that powerhouse six pull the vintage air? next you'll want to put an interior to match the hot pink paint LOL!!
