i havent been paying attention to this magazine lately but i'd like to see the jalopy showdown coverage

 

readings and greetings used to be the place but not sure now that they changed hands, let you know if i find it.

who's heading up to Beaver Springs for the Jalopy Showdown Sept. 29th? i was racing up there this weekend with MANDRA and heard about it. mentioned i was building an A and suddenly i find out a**** these nostalgia racers closet HAMBERs come out and tell me about their other cars or projects. will be something different, i'm just going to put the pie crusts back on my cat and put up a smoke screen, who care about winning, points or trophies.

 

I think the biggest point we're trying to make about the Jalopy Drags is that it's all about having a good time (not ET) with your hot rod or custom. Just like the Jalopy Showdown at Latimore isn't about making fast laps or winning trophies. Drag it out. Have fun.
