I just received these shots from my brother who lives on the upper West Coast. The story is the old man died and left these cars to his kids but they can't be sold by them. I am sure many have tried to buy something. This could be one of the larger piles of old Model A's, T's and really old cars anywhere.

I dont think they cant be sold even if they dont have ***les or anything. if they were left to the children and they are on family property they are theirs to do with whatever they want. will or not if the property is left to them and they have do***entation of it everything on it is theirs. They can legally do with it whatever they please. Unless there was a will and it says they cant.

I think my brother did say there was a will involved.

I like the guardrail...I wonder how many times guys have s****ed it because they weren't watching the road!
Even with a will, they should be able to sell if they were left to them.

Again, try the basic approach & go Knock on there door & ask them what the story is!! maybe you'll be suprised at the answer.
Ever hear the story about how the prettiest girl at school always sat home alone cause no one asked her out? well maybe its the same case here!!lol

My son and I stopped there about a year ago. An older guy (70's?) lives there. He's been collecting stuff for a long time, both "field finds" and things he's bought at various sales. He's really into old tractors and very early heavy trucks. He showed us around, including inside his barns. He did not want to sell anything, but then again, lots of the stuff outside was really pretty far gone. If he did p*** on, perhaps his familly might sell, but they are aware of old tin value, as the elderly fellow quoted some pretty high prices he said he'd paid for some of his projects, from all over the U.S., including East Coast.

The story I got about that place is the State Tax ***essor was trying to squeeze the old man. He used to sell pieces to people that needed them to keep older cars going. One day (according to the story I was told by friends that live around there) a guy he doesn't know shows up and asks for a specific part, after they find it, haggle for the price and the unknown guy is holding the part, he identifies himself as a representative of the State (or county, I have heard it both ways, but more often as the state) and the old timer owes them some ridiculous amount of money for back taxes for unreported sales over the years. Well the old guy supposedly grabs the part out of Mr. Revenooer's hands and tells him to get the hell out of there and don't come back.

Or at least that's how I heard it. So if he has p***ed on, maybe that's why they haven't or can't sell?

Yeah it's real easy to 'weave' right there on the road.
