quick tri-5 question

    would a 57 trunk lid fit a 58? :confused: -thanks

    A '57 Chevy trunk lid will not fot on a '58 Chevy. '55, '56, and '57 will interchange, but the '58 is frame up a compltely different car.

    I am guessing you mean Chevies, right? If so, no. They are way different. From the rear, you can see how the usual tri-5's ('55, '56, '57) are all, for the most part, squared off. The '58 trunk is angled on the sides to clear those slanted fins. The '58 is not lumped in with the others as a tri-5, but usually grouped with the other Impalas.

    58's are my favorite of any 50's chevy.

    You can make ANYTHING fit with the right tools: face mask/goggles, plasma cutter, chop saw, small grinder, welder, extra metal and the most important part - TIME ...get to it...!!!
