Here's my Belair before I sold it :(

And here's my new project., and the Garage I just put up. That's why I had to sell the Belair. The truck is a 1947 Studebaker M-5 I put a 95 S-10 frame under it. Had to shorten the frame 13.5" I sure miss that Belair. I had it for 23 years.

Originally built in Oklahoma, I am the fourth owner...working without the benefit of a build sheet. Hoping to restore this mostly 1927 Ford Ton Truck to what a fifties rod should be. Has a ho hum 350/350 with two fours. Would prefer a flathead. At 1477 lbs it scoots.

  3. Hey Jim,
Your '56 looks alot better than mine did when I brought her home! And I'm no expert gearhead. I was motorvated...got her up and runnin' in 5 months!! You can probably do much better than I did. Besides, pictures do a swell job in hiding the faults! Keep me posted on your '56!
    cheers,
    Al

Here's my '36 tudor humpback... All I hear is y'all talking **** about the humpback cars, but I don't mind it! Anyway, sorry 'bout the bad photography and all the **** stacked up on it. The project's stalled... for the last twenty years. I'm taking this project over from my dad, but I haven't done much to it yet. I had a '47 'Stude pickup... gawd I'm glad I sold that ugly pile!

Hell of a sacrifice! I know where you're at though. I have 3 drivers and several projects, but no garage. Been saving for a couple of years and should finally have one in the spring.

Haha, who said humpbacks weren't cool? I love them!

I wish I could find one in that condition. Those (36's) are one of my favorite cars.

Here's my current project. When it's roadworthy I might be able to get something a bit older:)

Thanks slammed88! I didn't so much "find" it, as it's just always been there. I can remember sitting in the driver's seat, making motor noises with my pop when I was like, three. It's always kinda been my idea of how a family truckster should be... Except running and driving, instead of sitting and collecting ****.

Haven't been around for a while, so here's some of mine. My '31 has a bout a 100,000 or more miles on it at this time, the Modified Lakes '32, getting a bit of a rebuild right know...

Test fitted the body for the first time a couple of weeks ago.
Sat too high, so dropped spindles are on their way.
Those of you familiar with the Jag' IRS will see the gemotry is a little bit wrong. The differential is moved 1" higher up in the ch***ies these days.
