This may be a bit off topic for this board, but I really need some help and hope someone here has info. My friend is closing his salvage on Sept 7th and crushing everything, I don't want to loose out on this.
I have access to a nice 51 body that already has a 9" axle in it. In fact, it had a 500CI Caddy in it at one time. I really think it would make a good g***er, but I would like to find pics of one to get a better idea. Does anyone have links or pics?

I would much rather have a 55 Chevy, but those are scarce as hens teeth. My Dad had one when he was in H.S. that was bad ***. I guess the family tradition is strong. Not that I'm in H.S. anymore, but you guys get the idea.

    Thanks, Great pics.
I saw the 53 thread, but the body style just wasn't close enough. Those big bulbous front fenders change the effect.

I really want a 55, but this one may be it for a while. If I get it I'll toss up some pics of the "before".

There was a really sharp '51 G***er at the HAMB drags last weekend. If you look through enough of the "my HAMB drags photos" posts I'm sure you'll find a picture of it. It was dark blue.

I backed off it, it was missing too many parts. I finally got to stop and look it over, funny how things look much better from 50' away.
I did stop and look at this Plymouth, and it wasn't too bad (couple of bullet holes), but I want a chebby.....

These cars are easy to make into g***ers. I pulled a shell out of a junkyard in idaho, Located all the parts and went racing
