Which day is is the best swap meet day at the Springfield swap meet. Thought is to drive over from western Michigan. Could any one let me know, Friday better than Saturday the same? Is the fall swap worth a 6 hour drive for early Ford parts?
Hate to spend money on a room for an extra night for Friday's sale if all the vendors are not there until Satruday.

I have had a vendor spot there for the past 6 years. Always a nice show for us. Friday and Saturday are the best days and I can't be there on Sunday anyway. This is probably the best swap meet in the area for my money. We bring up lots of flathead goodies plus some 60's stuff. Primarily all Ford in our space (J5A-6A outside). Look for the white canopy with the FLATHEADV8.COM sign on the front................... Mac VP

So its sound like Friday is as good as Satruday. Would one day be enough time to take in all used parts?

Sorry to dredge up an old thread...but if you are ever contemplating coming to CARS & PARTS in SPRINGFIELD, OHIO for one day only...Saturday is your best choice. Not every vendor arrives before Saturday (casual local vendors with stuff from their attics often don't take off of work on Friday), while some other vendors leave early on Sunday.

I always suggest to folks to try and come all 3 days. You find early-bird treasures on Friday, before many booths have been picked over; Saturday is simply massive, and Sunday often finds vendors in the mood to sell stuff rather than pack it home.

    Just my opinion. ;)
