Here are a few pics from LEAD EAST the giant 50's PARTY, offering more unique events than 15 normal car shows added together. If you dig the good old days of greased hair, tail fins, and 50's rock n' roll, they we got a PARTY for you ... And there is no other event remotely like this on the planet.

I think I took all the same pictures :)

I especially liked Old Skool T with the Side Mount and the center steering headlight.

I'll post some of my pics up as soon as I download the camera. Great show with a good mix of cars and a couple that should not have been in there.

Ok this one has me going in circles. What is this exactly. Carbs and fuel injection? Gutted carbs with only the throttle plates in them? I see wires but where are injectors? Or is it just the angle?

    What the heck is this!!

My guess would be F.I. unless the're wired for sound. Here's another set from Paso(remember Paso?)this year, slightly different but still neat.

    65 mustang,
Yep, you got it figured out. The carbs are just there for the throttle blades. The injectors are under the fuel logs. They are hidden in the pics.
I think as time goes on we will see more of this type of deal. Electronic injection works great when it works.
For now I'll be stickin' with my trips. Have fun,Smokey

    Nitrofc,

 Very cool photographs of a very cool event. I have a Lead East Video
and watch it often. I give Terry Cook one of the '39 Huston tail lights for the S****e car. I really like the doowop singers at the event.........
