Well,,,I started this project on March 3rd of this year and 6 months later I'm can drive it!

I am really happy with the way it turned out,,,,and I would be a total *** if I didn't give credit were it is due,,,,my friend Dave,,a non-hamber worked with me from the start,,and the truck wouldn't be on the rod now without his help!,,Thanks Dave. :D

These are the only photos I have as of now,,,,and they **** but my daughter left with my camera in her car,, I will post some more and better photos later today,,,,

Thanks to all who have answered my normal building questions and some,,well,,,not so normal. HRP

Absolutely excellent. Fantastic job, HRP. Seems I've been trying to wear mine out, the last 2 weeks. Hope you do the same. That is one sweet pick-em-up.
    CONGRATULATIONS..............

...be patient Larry...one of these days Mr. Long Legs will grow tired of that really short cab and want to sell it to a short fat guy...

My original plan was to just get the truck runnin',,,but we all know that one thing leds to another.

It started out as a fairly complete truck minus the engine and other small odds and ends.

During the build it was suggested that the bed should be shorter,,,I really didn't want to at first but the more drawings and photo shop stuff I saw I decided to do it.

We thought about cutting the original bed but building a new one seemed like the right thing at the time and a lot less body work.

So after a new bed was fabed up,,the ol' original paint and the new bed didn't work for me,,,so,,,,,

We didn't do anything to the cab,,,we didn't remove any dents and we just scuffed it and shot it with Kirkker semi-gloss hot rod black.

I am over 6 foot so interior room is a must,,,and I needed a good place to mount the battery,,,,,I had the perfect thing in the corner,,,a luggage truck that had been on the back of a 32 chevy,,,,I worked out great.

We mounted a heat/air combo under the seat,,, I will be able to drive this truck in any kind of weather,,,,although I have driven the roadster in some pretty bad weather,,heavy rain,,,a little snow and even a hail storm,,,, HRP

It turned out super. I really like the shorter beds on '32-'34's. Also, I've always liked the green wheels on a black vehicle. Now.................................drive the snot out of it !! :D

thank you for not destroying the bed. I like to see something big enough to put more than a pair of shoes in.

Plywood with a 94 Ford Aerostar middle seat foam removed from the from metal frame,,,and about 4" of foam cut off each side and pulled the material down,,,,,this is short term until we can get serious about making a better seat,,,but it works.

Dirk,,,the tires are Coker Cl***ics....560-15 front and L-78-15 rear, HRP
