    heres a wright up:

In The Electroline Diaries, author Laurent Bagnard and his trusty Nikon F2 follow the Choppers on a journey through southern California, Las Vegas, and even a huge hot rod show in Yokohama, Japan, where the Choppers were guests of Mooneyes, the famed speed parts company. He captures the Choppers in their element--hanging out with fellow hot rodders, catching their favorite bands, traveling to car shows far and wide, and cruising in their cool-as-hell hot rods. The Electroline Diaries is a window into the unique lifestyle of the Choppers that has influenced gearhead culture around the world. Burbank Choppers celebrates today's kustom kulture from an insider's perspective, and is sure to become a landmark of car and pop culture.

    FYI

Laurent will be at the Speed & Chrome booth at Billetproof selling copies of the book. I just got mine and it is really amazing. Laurent is a truly gifted photographer and really knows how to tell a story visually.

I think Verne may be coming up also to help promote.

Come by the booth and get your copy! I am only saying this as a favor for Laurent, I dont get a cut of the money, just helpin a buddy.

  7. I remember meeting Laurent at my place about 3 yrs ago after the Primer Nat's. Look forward to getting the book. I know there is a signing at the bookstore in Burbank but I'm not sure when. Maybe Dragnut will get on here and tell us.

    Cool book.
    I was reading it just this weekend....When I wasn't on the H.A.M.B.
    Very nice pics and dialogue.

    Two thumbs-up!

  15. Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for the kind words regarding the new book. Laurent worked with us for years on this project, pouring alot of heart and soul into it. He both shot and art directed the book. We as a club couldn't be happier with the outcome, and stand behind it 100%. Whichever book you decide to buy (soft or hardbound), you won't be disappointed. As Kiwi Kev said, there will be a book signing on Saturday, September 22nd at Autobooks in Burbank from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. We will put up a post with more details nearer to the date, but come on down if you can, and bring your Hot Rod or Custom- should be a fun time.
Regarding purchasing: our site- www.BurbankChoppers.com has both books.
www.Coolnout.com also has purchase info for the softbound as well as info about the book and the author, Laurent Bagnard.
    Thanks again,
Deron Wright, The Burbank Choppers car club

I flipped through it at the the primer show,
the hardbound cover seems like it'll be well worth it.
Will it be available at the signing?

Picked it up at the Primer Nats from the guy that sells all the mags and books at different shows and Pomona swap. I can honestly say that I'm inspired by their style of Customs. Laurent is an absolutely great photographer! Might have to go get the H/B too!

The Choppers flash site won't work at my desk, I'll have to do it at home.

You can type in the ***le in a search engine(Google it) and you'll see a plethora of stores/sites that have it for sale.

  29. Jim, that sounds cool, I will talk to the rest of the guys about it. Congrats on the store by the way. D.

  30. Thanks for the heads up P.

Didn't know about this book, but I've shot off an email to get dealer pricing so hopefully I can land them for a reasonable price in Oz so the local guys don't get killed on the postage.

Anyone know who runs the "coolnout" website? Is it Laurent?
