any duvall type windsheild can be cut down to fit
you'll need to modify the cowl posts to make room for it to sit right and probably have to thin the windsheild a good bit

i would think you might be better off with a hallock type windsheild and fabricate a top for it?

    good luck in any case

  3. isn't somone making a Hallock repro right now? that seems it would be the obvious choice for a 28/29 yeah?

steve sellers is making a really nice Hallock style windshield now
and i would agree, this looks better in my opinion on a 28/29
but some cars do still look ok with the duvall if done right

    like Eddie Dye's roadster

  5. I posted a big thread a while back on how to build a Duvall style windshield frame---Brian

duvall's don't really go with 28/29's, usually the Hallock style.
I've been making some for a while now, from steel.
Unfortunately they still need to be file fitted to the cowl.
This is the latest one, way shorter than normal.

I got one from Ian Roussel which was a little rough to fit, but VERY reasonabally priced http://stores.ebay.com/Dirty-Valley-Delu**x

I think in the last year they changed the molds so they fit a little better on the link above there is info on his shop kustom metal werks... He and DD seem to be really friendly and I bet would be willing to help you out...

    Good luck...

  10. I actually like it a little more than the others I have seen, where the gl*** goes almost to the firewall. May have to look into one for the Plymouth...

Agreed.... From what I understand they are meant to be tig welded to fit... but for under $100 they are a really handy starting point.

  12. Steve Sellers Hallock windshield... yeah... that's going on my "must have" list :).... wonder if he'll throw in the *****in' roadster?
