Monkey finally drives fuel dragster!!!!

Well, I finally got to live the dream I've wanted so badly for many years now. Friday night I drove Howard Tribbey's twin engine dragster at test n tune. This is the same dragster that's at the HAMB drags every year.

I've helped him here and there over the years and he's always talked about suiting me up and letting me have a go. Finally, I got my chance.

I made three passes, best of the three was the last - 10.60 at 124 mph.

I think I've maybe earned a permanent seat for a while. Check it out...

Oh man, it was a lot of fun! Something I've wanted to do for the past 3 years. Now it's something I want to do every evening. The faster I went, the bigger the grin was on my face. I couldn't hardly get my helmet off!!!
