Hey Mike, we acutally had cookies yesterday. Or I should say I did, Stevo was a no-show. Something about spending quaility time with is Dad. That boy better start getting his priorities straight ;-).

fab32, I'm actually hoping that would be the case. I'm still chuckling over the amount of cars and biuks that slow to take a look when it's just sitting in the driveway. Man that cracks me up...

Tim, you can have a ride anytime you want, you just gotta come to Dayton for it. I doubt you'll see me at the Pumpkin Run. I never have liked that show for some reason.

sciflyer72, The hack's work is aready history. I even laid rubber in the driveway to make sure.

    I had to add this.

I got home from my part-time job around 1PM and since my wife had taken the day off, (no it's not going there) I asked her if, since the streets were quiet and the school buses hadn't started their routes yet if she wanted to go for a quick spin in the coupe. Much to my surprize she said sure. I was shocked because she'd been complaining about a stiff lumbar all week.

So I race out to the garage, pull the coupe out and she pokes her head around the corner of the house and asks with a big smile, "Do I need a crash helmut?". I told her no and to get in.

We pulled out of the driveway and did a quick and not-so-quiet lap around the plat. When we got back she was smiling ear-to-ear. She had a blast! I think that was the nail in the coffin for her. She's now seeing what I've been seeing.

As I've said before, nothing sweeter than the first time it runs under it's own power!

    Congrats! RGV

And it's even better when your other half's on board, especially financially speaking - that's why most of my projects are ***led in her name. I'm gonna drive up there one day and then I'm gonna have to buy that '34 I found and build my own...

Great looking coupe! You definitely got the proportions right! The smiles are all good man. For me, the first time you fire the engine and the first time she moves under her own power are the biggest. And like several others guys have said... Sometimes yer just cruising along, yer right arm stretched across the top of the seat listenin to the music from the pipes and BAM! it hits ya again... That big goofy smile couldn't be slapped off yer face. Welcome to it man!

man those rear meats look good. I love the last picture of the guy mowing the lawn contrasted with something he could be doing like driving a frickin hot rod.
