Well the silence is deafening, Andys surgury is supposed to be long................but i was hoping to have news by now. Lets hope that they get this sucker and Andy nails the first surgury. Once i get news i will post asap. Leon

Well folks, i just got good news from Paul. He works the parts counter. Andys surgury was 13 hrs long and they were shocked to find the tumor was the size of a golf ball, much bigger than it appeared through scans. It went from the base of the brain to c-2 and had deteriated a couple arteries one to the brain, which they removed and will cause no damage and one to the tongue which they also removed, this will only mean he will have to cut his food a little smaller. The great news is no tracheotomy or feeding tube for Andy which was a big consern for a 12yr old. When Chris got to see Andy he was told it could be a couple days before Andy responded due to surgury and drugs, however when Chris told Andy all the good news Andy responded and squeezed his hand and gave him a thumbs up, HOW FREAK"N TOUGH IS THAT! Dr.s were going to operate on Andys spine next week but they have chosen to do the 2 operations this Friday.......... so we are 1/2 way there.............. So Andy ..........................Start making those plans buddy, there a alot of people you have to meet in Mokan in 2008. And your dad has fessed up that you are going............... I gotta tell ya i was worried with the long time and no conversation..... but you did make the day Andy, not lets kick the crap outta the other tumor and get this project of yours on track. Wow, that sounds like best case scenario all the way around. I was really concerned when I woke up and checked the board for news. The Kid'll be hot rodding in no time!
