rust paint ????

    what is the name of the product that you paint on and it neturalizes and changes the properties of rust so it can be painted over

    There are probably a few good ones.

    I think you might be talking about the stuff that you paint on and it turns the rust black. Locktight makes one called "extend", but a lot of company's market it under different names. Do a google for "rust neutralizer" or "rust converter" it should turn up many. Walmart sells it as do most auto body supplies.

    Just be careful when using it cause that stuff doesnt come off for days. But yeah a lot of differnet companies carry it. They have it in both paint and spray.

    Man ain't that the truth.30 seconds of airborne overspray and lungs burned for 3 days. Do not spray por 15 without a resperator.That **** is lethal but works great

    i paint alot off **** for offshore use, and we use phosfo or chemprime. They both work good.

    i work in the chemical plants on the texas coast we use phosfo can be bought at any local paint or hardware store

    Sure your not talking about OSPHO. never heard of phosfo.

    Ospho works well, think phosphoric acid is one of the ingredients, not sure. You can paint over it, think it is about $15/ gallon if I remember. Consistency of water, brush it on, spray it on with a garden sprayer etc.
