Anybody have any idea as to the fate of this poor guy? I don't remember where I got the photo but would like to know what happened to him. Anybody know?
i showed the pic to my pops and he said it looked like an old track in chattinogga tenn , he wasnt sure about the details .. who knows i caught the old boy mowin his grass twice in as many months wearin nothin but a smile
Even if he did live I'm pretty he's dead by now, unless he had some sort of tortoise or parrot gene in him.
I don't know but there sure was a hell of a lot of PAIN in his immediate future... And I don't think he got to kiss the girl.
Damn! If I was a spectator in the first row or two, I think I woulda' been crappin' myself... (Plus, I'd be pretty old about now...)
And a couple more just for fun ,.... ( the guy in the first picture that started the post was Chuck Jones)
That's the famous 1950s era racer Mario Baldini, who not only survived, but went on to great fame as a sprint car driver. Unfortunatly, he never did quite get that seat belt thing figured out real good.
That activity is totally responsible for the current shortage of 32 -34 ford coupes...Shit! what a fuckin moronic waste of good steel....
In the 50s and 60s these cars were just "old cars" much like the 80s Monty Carlos are now. The ones used up racing don't hold a candle to the ones that were scraped for the war effort of the 40s. You can't look at a picture from 50 years ago and apply todays judgement to them. Otherwise how are we going to fair in 50 years when our current cars are put to the test by their standards. Some of you guys need to go out in the garage and do something. The hot rodders of the 2057 are waiting to pass judgement on your activities. Gene
i believe the caption 'does my ass look big dear '' is correct.. whos to say he's not gettin in instead of out .. ya'll are a bunch of pessimists
