As many of you know ; our previous location ; Kahunaville has closed down and we have been trying to find a suitable location closer to PHILLY . It hasn't been easy ,,the HRHD has grown to be such a large event that it has been nearly impossible to get a location that can offer everything needed . Our ULTIMATE GOAL is to make the HRHD into a WEEKENDER ,,and we are looking toward NEXT YEAR to be able to do that ! HOWEVER : THIS YEAR ; the HOTROD HOEDOWN is going BACK TO BASICS ! HOTROD HOEDOWN ! BARE ONES + HARDCORE ! SAT . SEPT 8 TH ,2007 OPEN TO PRE 1970'S STYLE ; HOT RODS , KUSTOMS, RAT RODS ,BEATERS, DRIVERS, CLASSICS ,RACE AND SPECIALTY VEHICLES ! NO BILLET ! NO KIT CARS ! NO STREET RODS ! NO FIBERGLASS! NO SQUARES ! NO CLYDES ! NO CRYBABIES! NO BULLS**T !!!! The new location has only 500 spaces ,,so we are forced to limit entry this year ( in years past we have had a very open policy and we hope to be able to fit everyone in future shows ) . Parking will be both on Blacktop and Grass ,with a nice shady picnic grove area , Food ,Drink ,Beer, Music ,etc. Space is on a First come ,First parked basis. We will have a special area or FEATURED VEHICLES; KUSTOMS ; and SPECIALTY VEHICLES! ALLONG WITH ; an ART EXHIBIT AREA ;that is OPEN TO EVERYONE ! Bring your Art,Photos ,Pinstriping,Metal works,MODEL CARS , clothing or any other creative material and show it ,sell it ,share it with everybody ! Ther will be Awards for best Art pieces ,,as well as exposing yourself ,,errr,your skills to the world ! DJ + LIVE MUSIC ; both OUTSIDE during the day and then INSIDE in the EVENING with a Special Concert ;;;;ALL FOR ONE ADMISSION PRICE !
