Well, the bucket left for Jersey today...I took 'er out for a nice long drive this morning and then the Horseless Carriage came and took 'er away...I'm gonna miss the 'lil Bucket At least it's staying in the HAMB family... Built by: Gadman Owned by: Cruzr, FoMoCoMoFo, Burny and now Gas Man Anyone else get unrationally bummed when they see their X getting loaded onto a trailer? Oh yeah BTW- check out the $380K Maybach it's sharing the ride with...
nice modified. I had it happen once with a 62 galaxie I had. I redid everything on it. Fresh chrome inside and out, new custom interior, new paint and fresh motor. The only time I got to drive it was to the trailer. It ****ed.
i usually fell bad....then i remember the pile of cash i got for it..... then the cash disappears....and i feel bad agian.... anyone seen a candy g**** over silver flake with candy yellow / orange / and pink flames t bucket in the la area....sbc with zoomies.....last seen rolling into a blue highway trailer with some old nasty s10 wheels for rollers...... brandon
Ron, did you put the snow tires in the trailer with the car? Hey, A big thanks to Ron for helping me get this car. He don't know me and I don't know him. We made a deal on the phone in like ten minutes, sight unseen. Everything went like clockwork except for the idiots at UPS in sending PAPER across the country. I'm a newbie here at the H.A.M.B. but this is what traditional values and cars and such is all about. I've been fixing **** and battling rust for 50 years and now I have a toy that just needs maintenance. It's every thing I had in my mind for years now to do but can't get to it. Except it needs a clutch pedal. And maybe the Merc flathead that's in the garage. And maybe the Q/C that's in the shed. But it's perfect. Thanks again, Ron. I'll put up a pic of the landing here in Joisey. Thanks, Frank
Ron, You sold it because you wanted to move on to bigger and better things (and that Merc is definitely bigger). If and when you want it back you can always build another one. This is all a part of loving old cars, your never happy until you have had each one you have ever wanted.
the last 2 cars i sold went to hambers and both seem pretty happy and drive em daily, so thats pretty cool. I cant say i miss them because I like change and get bordered no matter what kind of car it is, but i do wish I got to see me finish my merc
Frank, as a previous owner{i bought it from the guy who built it} i can tell ya its a way cool ride. ask Burny for a copy of the cd i gave to him it has some great shots of the roadster in "action" Cruzr
These are ****py photos, but here is the "little gal" when i first got her and had the louvers punched, and put the dash panel in. It used to have a powerglide with a shift kit but i think it has a 350 ****** now.

Man, I know that feeling, but it drives you to bigger and better times. At least yours went to someone with like toughts over what a rod is all about.
Wish I could have afforded it. I still have the ebay ad saved. LOL Ah to have been able to have bid on it. Guess I'll just have to get to building my own.
