$150 to help us out in NY. Can anyone look at a car for me? Paying $150 for your time

Hey guys/gals.

A good friend of mine finally decided to take the plunge and bought a nice rig. Before sending the $19k, we'd like to make sure the car exsists and that the vin/***le match. I'm in need of a set of eyes and ears in MY to look at it, verify the vin and hear it run. We'll pay you $150 for your time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm available for the same out here in So Cal.

What kind of car? Might narrow the folks down a bit. I wouldnt go look at a hotrod, cause I dont know the first thing about what bones and panhards etc are supposed to look like when done right.

 

Sorry, That $150 wouldn't even cover the gas in my truck to drive to Long Island.

It's a 30-31 5-window....traditional, finished daily driver, should be effortless. It's already a done deal, I just need to make sure it exsists, runs and a vin verification...

 

I'm not close enough but there are HMABers out in LI.

If it's sitting on a fabricated frame and has any engine other than the original the VIN must have been stamped into the frame when currently built. Is it supposed to have a modern ***igned number as a 2005 or such car or what? You say 30-31 Coupe, it has to be one or the other on a ***le.
