newb checking in!

I'm new to the hot rodding scene. I have a 1958 Chevrolet Apache 10 project. I have no engine or transmission yet. The truck is off of the frame and I'm trying to decide what to do with the suspension. Keeping the original straight axle has some advantages, Mustang II has advantages as well. The only problem I have is that I'm short on cash and spending 2k on front suspension is out of the question now. I've read about frame swaps with long Bed S-10's. Who knows what I will do, but I will be hanging out here, reading and trying to decide what the best approach is.
