been around things with engines alll my life. always been into bikes(harleys, is there another kind?) built a few chops.always loved muscle cars. this is my first jump into a serious performance engine. my current project is a 58 apache on mid 80's blazer 4x4 running gear ill get more recent pics soon. so far..... 14 bolt ff rear, det locker, disk brake conv, 4.56's dana 60 front, open carrier,6" susp lift 3"body(to clear bell housing), np 208, th350(built) manual/auto, 3000 stall,sbc 400(406) completely rebuilt with 400 hp. Block has been bored and honed with torque plates. decks have been squared. new cam bearings and freeze plugs. new **** forged crankshaft that has been balanced. GM PM rods resized w/ARP bolts and balanced. speed pro forged Light weight LW2606F30 coated dished pistons balanced.10.5:1 compression Crane hydraulic cam .516 .525 lift 244 252 dur at .050. 110 lobe sep. gm zz350 aluminum heads. springs to match cam. three angle valve job. decks have been surfaced. set of shaft mounts full roller rocker arms.girdle, poly locks, comp cams moly pushrods +.100. speed pro moly rings. true roller timing chain. felpro gaskets.holly street dom. intake, holley street avenger 670.msd hei pro billit dist,stainless headers,flomasters. just got the engine running on the 25th of oct. first build... some issues but not many....this is a bad ***, very informative site. iv lurked around in the shadows for a while......anyone in virginia? well this is a long read, sorry.
