If you're going to hardtop it, lose the visor! Also remove the running board trim. French the lcense plate into the trunk...The rest sounds good except for the flat blak...design some different scallops than what you've got...

Lemmee see, that's only about thirteen cents worth of "help"...hope it helps...

Post a better pic. Maybe a decent profile shot with the entire car in it. Preferably with a clear background (no people, trees, other cars etc.) You never know what you might get. -stick

Hey wobbles! You better lose the visor,or I'll PP on yer car again:eek: The U joint deal now make sense=power on pinion angle changes=wobble. Power off pinion noses down= smooth. Let us know when you do the chop, sounds like a good time. I prefer the look of no skirts myself.but that's just the 'Cali' bringin' up comming out.:DSpark-O

Man, you don't make it easy! How about this? 4" chop, copper wheels and paint, Bumpers and grill without paint, curved removable side gl***. Keep the vent wings. Make it simple and cl***ic.

Raven is an AWESOME hardtop..i really dig the red paint job in that rendering, course i would've gone with flipper caps or caddies instead of spiders, but that's just me..i also would say that if this car is gonna be lowered it NEEDS skirts in my opinion..and i have to agree, man, keep the vent windows..looks a lot better and cl***ic..just make the rest of the gl*** curved like the Hirohata or Matranga (sp? sorry!) mercs..i even think that thing'd look *****in as a FAKE hardtop like the Hirohata, but that's just my thoughts again.not like any of it matters, just tellin ya what i'd do.either way,it'll be nice as hell when you're done

There is nothing "bad' about them, Adem...just don't fit some cars after all the mods are done...the visor looks good on the coop Ratrodford has now...but when it's hardtopped, it's out of place...doesn't fit the look...

Personally, I do not like the look of a coop that's been hardtopped...they never look like they were designed that way (and they weren't)...there's too much side windows without the post...and the rear of the roof in the photoshopped version is way too skinny, it needs to be fattened up a bit. Without the vent windows, it would have extremely too much side window...out of place for the year of the car. Posts leaned forward would eliminate the "gaping" look...but if he wants to hardtop it...it's his car...and if he wants to keep the visor, so be it...

Hmmmmm, there's 28 cents worth of constructive criticism...Adem, hope it helps...

What he said about visors.:D I'm in agreement that these cars shouldn't be hardtopped. I'm partial to the spider caps and skirts make it look longer, lower etc.. Oh Yeah! So Cal late 40's early 50's cl***ic sled. -stick

If you get rid of the visor, pm me with the width measurment, or if you know if it would fit a '48 Olds. I'm interested in it......

I like the idea of hardtopping but alot of metal work would need to be done to give it correct proportions. Just a quick paint edit of Bumps original. Love the color by the way....

(My Opinion) No Skirts. No Visor. These cars already have too much *** (too tall) and dont need the addition of skirts.
