Yep I got a freebie. The front half is supposed to be a 21 Dodge coupe, and the back half is a little newer. I grabbed a T frame just to have a rough mock up. It will be the long term project for me and my boys when they get older. But I will still work on it once in a while. Only got 1 pic then the camera died. I'll try to have more pics tomorrow.

Hell yeah! Your Datsun collection is "interesting" but I've been waiting for you to get something like this....they have lines every bit as pleasing as a similar-year Ford, IMHO

If ya noticed, I sold most of the Datsuns, just have the Kamikaze Kustom left (keepin for life). But I did miss having a really old rare car, remember my 30 Cord L29 sedan? It was big and back then I didn't know as much as now to work on it.

My friend that gave it to me has a great T collection and an A project. He started this and decided since it wasn't a T it wasn't good enough.

Sweet, man! Reminds me of the '24 Dodge basket case I had briefly in the high school shop. I'll hafta set some stuff aside to help yer project, even some lil' gems to keep you going. Looking forward to seeing you @ B'proof, this weekend!

Took a few more bad pics tonight. Started digging parts out of storage that I may use on this. I'm gonna have fun. :)

way cool, that would make a nice project.

    Any plans?

  12. You did good, it's a ****load better than the '26 Dodge sedan cowl and doors I picked up. That wasn't free, but the old tube radios I traded for it would have had to go in the trash probably had I not swapped them to these guys.

Plans...hmm. I am goin fenderless and chopped. I got 2 hoods and a grill with it, so I might go 4 banger. My current engines are a 60's Datsun J13 (1300cc) with a 4 speed, an 80's Nissan Z24 (2400cc from the truck , has 2 spark plags per cylinder) with a 5 speed, or an Olds 350 with auto. I have a set of WWW 15s, all the same size on 6 lug wheels, so I will probably need to get different rims. Also already have 58 Chevy taillights, mid 30's headlights of unknown origin, 32 Ford headlight bar (will need to cut or trade for the fenderless action) and some other misc. parts. Future parts I will definitely need is a frame with good numbers and an A style front end.

Nuthin' wrong with Datsuns. I have a 72 521 truck, which is the 6th truck I've had since high school.

Nothing wrong with Datsuns, but it'll always be cooler if mopar powered. How bout a hood to conceal a turbo 2.2. They're practically giving em away, and RWD bellhousings are available. Looks like a neat project either way.

I'm a mopar fan, but I think vintage datsun mill would be cool.

I've been digging up parts out of storage and my friend gave me Ford car rims so I'm gonna get rid of the Chevy truck rims. I'm thinkin eventually purple with black wheels and interior. (did I just here you say duh, what else) :D
