original spark plug cloth?

    is there any way to get some of the cloth that they used to use on the old braided spark plug wires? i dont know if anyone sells it or what, but there must be cuz some companies are making new ones. any help would be cool.

    i was thinking that if i can find a fabric or a cloth tape that looks like the old NOS copper wire, you could wrap a supressed modernish wire with the old coverings so you could still run a stereo and/or an electic igniton with no hangups.

    Dumb question, but do you really listen to the radio? Just wondering why you need suppression wire? John Brillman would be my first choice in original style wire also.

    well i dont listen to the radio, but the CD player and ipod, i do. would it distort the sound coming from the speakers or just distort the radio waves?

    and would it be compatiable with a pertronix unit and a stock coil?
