Bash me I dont care, You kinda get the best of both worlds here on the HAMB (yes I did an intro page months ago for the Rod-Gods) hahaha.. But take a LONG look at the pictures below and post what you think of the pile of junk I have placed together as one behemoth Chevy 31' Tub... This car was built more 80's Old Skool (with a 50-60 and 90's twist) Because that's what I KNOW.., 80's cars.. Isnt that what its all about? getting the thing ROLLING and getting the ODD LOOKS? from p***er-bys... hahaha I will pic a few random pictures and post them here.. any questions on a given area I can post another pic.. See you at the RANGE! or is it? When does the execution begin? Rob
Good gawd man, are you going to post the entire buildup tonight!? Give it a rest, we understand you are different.
Thanks thirtytwo.. Seats NOW.. Eeek VERY SORRY didnt know it posted that DEEP and in that fashion.. Im done.. whew Rob
I stole your pictures of the radius rods last time you posted them cuz I'm contemplating stretching my 40 GMC truc WB and that looks like a nice lightweight but strong because of the triangulation resolution. The bowties might keep one out of ten nim-noses from saying "Duh, what is it, an International?" An alternative to the owner/builder's initials which is what sprint cars got in their nerf bars for decoration. With the bags that close together, do you think you'll need an anti sway bar? Oh, one thing, quit with the lame excuses already! It's a home-built so it's traditional. (Traditional what, I don't know, but it's traditional building techniques at least, and not a 1-800 car.)

[/ QUOTE ] Pics are kinda mixed DrJ, There is a sway bar behind them that reaches over from the frame to the opposite leaf-pad, Kinda a DUMMY at the moment as it was all I had at the time.., Loved the 1-800-thing, Too many drive plastic already, I dont mind, But it's nice to see REAL tin once in a while.. Again sorry I didnt realize that in flat mode it takes up a freaking PAGE of post listings.. Rob

[/ QUOTE ] That's a panhard bar, I mean an antisway bar, like IFS sedans have so they don't lean so much on turns. looks like this |_________| keeps the car from leaning on turns.
Doh.. mind lost.. its late, The original front shocks that mounted out front on the sides of the frame have been gutted-out and a sway bar now reaches from one to the other inside the frame channel and just in front of the radiator throught the side of the grill shell, My Dad's making the bushings for inside the OEM shocks to hold the rod, another pair of Van sway bar brackets are being used front to rear instead of side to side... Thus stock shock cases remain, But they are actually the pivot point of the sway bar... pic attached.. Rob
Rob, I've been watching the buildup on your website. 200 + pages. Man, you have put some serious work into that car, and the web site. Must be 36 hours in every day in New Hampshire! Nice one dude Paul
