  1. these are the new astro's ken hooked me up with with.... and the free 215's i got on the hamb.... i posted ken's # on the other astro's post if you need it

    a bit off topic , but would ya'll think that asros would be safe enough to put on a truck that is actually used like a truck from time to time? i ask because theres this little dodge a-100 truck down the road here. you know the rest of the story.

    i ocasionally hear bad stories about astros even being on cars from time to time, so im a bit leary.

    look great.

    i just bought a set with tires mounted and balanced.

    great guy and GREAT prices.

    i asked him about the strength of these wheels and he ***ured me they would be strong enough for a heavy car with air ride that would see abuse. he builds them with 1/4 steel plating and gussets behind the spokes.

    i recommend.

  15. Is there any specific brand of pinner whites that is prefered when running Astros or doesnt it not really matter? My 60 had shaved black walls from PepBoys...yikes, Pep Boy tires

  18. no someone changed the front studs and they were to long I over tighten them with out spacers and f--ked them up I have since pounded out the studs and replaced them and am running new lugs but the bullet lugs are the chit for you brewsir here are the pics.. my dog ate my phone and i will need Willys # he is suppose to back from sweden soon the plans are ivory flaked roof bright gold body seude of course with lots of brewsir pin stripeing in red black and ivory the interior is gonna be gold and ivory with red piping[​IMG] [​IMG]

    Hmm...how would those look on a 54 Ford? I have yet to order any wheels and with the bonafide responses this wheel seller is getting, I am very tempted to find out.
