From the shape of the rear "quarter window", I'd guess that car started life as a Fordor. Pretty cool!

I have a '55 Chevy hardtop that would be ideal for that kind of conversion. All you'd need is someone's old Chevelle or other 115" wheelbase stocker with a worn out body.

Be trick, build it so you can pop out the glass, take the wipers off, and go racing with it - then drive it home. There's a local guy with a dirt modified '36 Chevy coach that has it street legal - sometimes he goes to the grocery store in it(!) -
