Yeah, that's a little rough looking alright. That said, I never liked the stock '57 ford mug. I guess there's no accounting for taste.

Just needs a few cans of Bondo to fair in the low spots... ;)

I've always thoght the headlights were an interruption in the flow from the front end to the fender line as fif this guy.
It just needed some English wheel work on the filler panels before ther got welded in, in otherwords, good custom idea not finished yet.
I would have used '58 Edsel light trim down low instead of the 59 Chevy though, just to keep it in the Ford family

It's not that bad, I have 57 ford, I've seen this style done on a couple of different 57's. I think the compound curve patch panel is challenge. If done right like the one's I've seen, it don't look too bad, will post images tonight. It takes courage and a lot work. It''s called creativity, not that 4th of July so-called 32 roadster thats sick!

That is pretty bad. Always liked the 57's headlights better that the later quads. That one is almost as nice as the T-Birds with the 49 Ford front and rear grafted on.  People who do that should just be horse whipped.

  17. what the hell is going on in this picture.. mr t's head is shrunk.. and "rojo"?? and that hand??? sorry to get off topic

say isnt that a very early and lost barris custom ?

  21. I think it would be fine if like was said, those filler panels met the fender line properly. A '57 Ford always looked like it was wearing coke-bottle gl***es, to me, anyhow - someone was trying to take the gl***es off this one.

Definitely a barn find! Its not that bad...

  28. At least they didn't add the '59 Chevy's mud traps!

However to quote an oft used phrase in these matters...

    " OH, THE HUMANITY!!!!"

I was thinking the same thing. I've seen a lot worse. Too bad it's a more door. It looks like a great parts car.
