Here are the rest of the pics I got at Island. That blue ford coupe was my fav. He didn't run it but I made him start it!

 

Why am I having a brain fart as to this car? I've seen it before. Who owns it?

What's the scoop on this motor? It's hard to see, but those valve covers look crazy, is that some kind of overhead valve configuration or am I just hallucinating?

I saw your video of the Corvette...three times. That's an entertaining ride.

 

Those are Thickstun head covers on a flathead. They were used on boat engines to keep water off the sparkplugs. (or maybe just to look cool)
The engine has the full Thickstun set-up: intake, air-cleaner, and head covers.
