Why not hold out for a Bantam, Anglia, or Topolino?

Curious though. How are you going to "slam" a midget with a stright front axle?

Anyone have a pic of a "slammed" g***er? I don't know if I've ever seen one.

    Look up Compe***ion Coupe.

Basically, an abreviated small Coupe body,Topolino, Metropolitan etc. mounted on a Front Engine Dragster.

Put the accessory removable hard top on the Spridget.

I think you're delusional, and you need to forget about screwing up a perfectly good midget. Go get a real car to screw with.

Somewhere I saw a picture of an old MGA roadster done up as a g***er and it looked horrible, it was like some freakish cartoon but if that's what you are going for then do it and post some pic's when your done.

One of the scariest rides I've ever had was in a beat-up old midget with a 327 4 speed.

He hit 4th gear at close to 100 and it went ***-out. Sliding off the road at that speed in a little ****-box like that....well, let's just say I'm surprised I left the scene with clean underwear.

Anybody ever try shoehorning a mid 60's GM V-6 into a MG Midget?

Reason I ask is because I have an extra 1965 Olds 225 V-6 with automatic and there is a cheap MG Midget available near me, that is missing its drivetrain. Worth messing with?

  14. My brother in law is selling his Triumph TR8, stock shoe-horned Buick V8 in to a TR7 body.

I think the kid's thinking about that bug eye Sprite that was cloned for someone's dad last year. It's a cool car.

  16. G***er sounds a bit odd, but I do have a Sunbeam with a Ford 2.8l Cologne 6 banger in it. Works great.

  18. There is an old bugeye sprite (basically the same as a midget) built as a g***er on here somewhere. looked kind of wild. You might try to find it!

frogrod, I have one in my shop right now,I'm finishing it up for a customer that doesn't have the time. It has a mild 60 deg V-6 in it (2.8) holley 4bbl. and etc. 200r4 trans. But its being done as a road race type car. The engine is a tight fit but not bad. If you want any pictures p.m. me. Norman Normal

  30. I remember a little Crosley(?)with a straight axle mounted in front of the car, and a small block stuffed in it. There was much discussion here about it.
