sirius punk and faction for me. some rap since i have one of those stereo "systems" that annoys everybody... and can't go too long w/o a dose of social d.

that's only in the new-er truck though... in the old rides i just listen to the car. don't need music to up the enjoyment of driving them if ya ask me.

You also don't NEED a 70 year old car... doesn't mean it's not enjoyable though.

i disagree, i DO need old cars. but i understand your point. maybe it would have made more sense if I said that music actually makes driving less enjoyable in certain cars for me.

"On a long and lonesome highway, east of Omaha, you can listen to the engine moaning out as one long song."
I don't even have a radio in my truck. Of course I was thinking of installing an 8 track.

No, you LIKE old cars. You NEED food, oxygen, shelter... but you COULD survive without old cars. ;)

And someone mentioned Omaha, Nebraska... man, I'll shoot myself before I get near that desolate wasteland of a state.

Apparently you've never been to MN.

We've got 10000 square miles of awesome lakes, biking and snowmobiling trails, lots of hills, rivers, up north it's near lower mountainous with lots of cliffs, hiking, caves, etc. , down south it's green as far as the eye can see.... then you've got the twin cities, with one of the best music and art scenes in the country, and big city feel on a small scale where you know someone wherever you go... Duluth is up by the lake with a really awesome landscape and equally cool scene in it's own right. We get varied seasons, all livable, and overall it's a very safe, clean, nice place to live.

Unlike Nebraska, where you drive through it and nearly shit your pants with excitement when you finally get to see a tree!!!!!

So next time you want to slag someplace, maybe you should try a place you've clearly been to.

  23. Kix, Nirvana, Mr Big, Faster Pussycat, L. A. Guns, etc was about the end of good rockin shit to me. Then this gay shit like Rembrandts, and Foo Fighters fucked it all up. That and 60's Rock/Motown.

I don't have a radio in my car.........I already have advanced tinnitus and can't hear shit anyway.

  25. Talk radio when someone good is on. Beck in the morning, Savage at night, sometimes Limbaugh and Hannity (when I am close enough to pick up the Albany station) in the middle. Steve Malzberg at 9:00 when I am close enough to home to pick up the WOR network station.

When I get tired of that, classic rock, metal, country, preferrably good country and southern rock - The Outlaws, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, Black Oak Arkansas, Doc Holliday, Skynyrd, every spinoff of Skynyrd there ever was, local bands, bands most people never heard of that were popular before I had a clue.... I have stuff here you still can't get on a CD.

RIP Hughie Thomasson, by the way; he died Sunday night of a heart attack.

XM x-country, Willies place, Boneyard, Squizz.. if Im in the HHR
MP3s from my cell phone if I'm in the Nova
CDs if I'm in the Saturn

Local Tucson radio, like hell I will!

Music varies for me depending on mood and traffic. Instead of listing what I like, it's easier to say I DONT like modern rap and r&b, boy bands or pop.

  28. Depends on the mood, little dude!

rustynewyorker, you're my hero when it come's to talk and can you say
    "ooooooooOOOOOooooooooHooHoo-oo-ooo,.....Mister Breeze!"
    (insert guitar sting here.)
