"Dave gets the job"........ Best kept secret since "what movie's playing at Cinematic" BEST wishes and luck(like you need any when you have talent ) at WHATEVER you do, Dave---you're a great guy
True - I misunderstand stuff all the time, and tend to read into things way too much. we need some answers from the true source (cause I also thought someone said there was a Dave sighting @ an ohio drag strip recently?) I'm really not trying to be a pessimist, just want to know what happens now?
Poetic! Very cool. This was the first time I was able to catch the show. I agree, it looked like Saturn boy was going to win, and then Jimmy mentioned p***ion... right then I knew Dave was going to win. I just wished Littleman would have shown some restraint and not celebrated so much when Jimmy asked him. Congrats!
I never seen an episode, but I know of Dave through here and he seems like a jolly good fellow and very talented too. I'm real happy for you, you go show those Californians how to do **** right.
Dave did spend the summer in OH with his family and friends and attended the Rock & Race event at Dragway42 in July with his cool truck. It's been less then 12 hours since the show ended here in the EST zone. I'm sure Dave will fill everyone in on what he has planned as soon as he is able.
Dammit! I didn't get to see it because... well... it doesn't matter... AWESOME DAVE! Congrats from me as well! Another great builder getting what he deserves! Hats off to you! Glad you'll be closer so I can see that coupe in person!
I made sure not to get on here last night so I wouldn't have the surprise (or bitter disappointment) spoiled. I'm kind of surprised that they picked the right man for the job too, but like Jimmy said "I don't want someone as good as Jimmy Shine, I want someone better than Jimmy Shine". I guess that made the choice easier. Congratulations Dave! I guess you don't get to **** around on the computer at work like us now?
I ran into Littleman at the Rock n Race show. I figured "he didn't get the job or he is back in Ohio to sell his house and move his family"...
****in' awesome, Dave! I was almost dreading the final episode because I knew I would be pissed if they picked the wrong guy. I wish the other two guys the best, especially Ritchie because he seems to have a lot of drive and desire to better himself. Talented dude with a lot of potential. The right guy won, for sure. I'm sure Shine was drooling from the get go when he saw Dave's work. The perfect guy for a shop that produces high dollar rides - traditional tastes, attention to detail and creative as a mo fo. Way to go, man!
Congrats we are happy to have you here in so. cal. Hope to see you at some shows, or at the shop. Best of show
Congradulations to Dave for being selected to work at the So-Cal speed shop. I would have made the same selection myself. That said, all three did well. With So-Cal having more than one shop, I could see them offering more than one, if not all a job once the show was completed. But over the entire show I think Littleman showed just a bit more. Again, congradulations Dave!
Right on man, I really figured they were going to pull some bs drama **** and burn you. They definatly got the right man for the job. Now get to work and build some cool ****. Bill
Congrats Dave! It just doesn't get any cooler than this. The wife and I were waiting for Jimmy to pull the trigger on one of the other two, and oddly enough, HE PICKED THE RIGHT ONE! You deserve it.
Congrats Dave, Outstanding Builder & seemingly a nice guy. Question isn't whether or not Dave accepted the job but whether or not SoCal could afford to pay him what he's worth !
Congrats Dave and Best of Luck out there. At least the winter should be warmer in Socal than what you're used to in the Midwest. That will be a good adjustment right there.
Congrats Dave- I'm a little surprised the best man for the job got it. Based on how they produced the TV show, is a typical work day like this?: 8:00 am Arrive at work 8:00-10:00am, review what you did the previous day. 10:00-11:00 morning break 11:00-12:00, review what you did during the morning. 12:00-2:00, Lunch 2:00-2:15 Work on Cars 2:15-3:30 Discuss the work you did between 2:00 and 2:15 3:30-5:00 Plan what you will be doing the next day
