does anyone have any info on this thing. i looked on google and really didnt find much.

all i found was it was made in the 30s/40s and made of bakalite . and it bolts to your steering colum

its in really good shape.
i wish i had a 6v cig lighter to pug it in to and check it out.

 

It's a 6 volt cigarette dispenser and lighter. Going price these days, prividing it does work, $40- $60..

!!!! I had not idea there was such a thing! Beats allowing the car to wander back and forth while you try to light one.
I need a smoke now.

 

You might also go to the auction site, and search Cig-a-lite, item 120161165003. Like yours only chrome!!!!! WOW....

Thanks for the info. I checked the auction one it was cool. I think I will just keep mine.
