Hi, Sorry no more pics on Roaring rat or the blown flatty. First time I had seen the huffed flatty though. Rat was running well all day

 

Great looking cars. It never ceases to amaze me how truly traditional the hot rods in Europe and Aussieland are compared to the bulk of American traditional hot rods. It seems as if the research to be authentic is more indepth.

Can anyone please comment?

 

Keep an eye open at Bakersfield this year as one of our top g***ers is making an appearence there, Its the Honky Tonking Tri Chevy owned by Jerry and Lee, Its awesome.

Roarin Rat was built back in the mid 70s and then disappeared for a good long while. It resurfaced a few years back and was restored. I can't remember who built it originally, I used to know all that stuff but all the years of self medication have left holes in my memory.

i remember staring at it for ages at the CC show at the ally pally and being told to move on

 

The blown flatty is a 265cu motor ported 1.6 race valves with 400 jr cam, 650 double pumper running 5 psi boost vertex mag

ran 13.2 @ 99mph
