O/T Terror Attack In West Los Angeles Tomorrow....

Just a heads up to all the Hambers that dont watch the news.. They have uncorroborated reports that there will be a terrorist attack on a shopping mall in west LA tomorrow. The police are taking it seriously, I hope you will too. If you or your family dont need to go, dont, and if you do, keep your eyes peeled. Look out for idle box vans, people leaving packages, or carrying big backpacks....
I pray it doesnt happen...

I am sure it will definitely happen sometime... I just don't think it is cool to change your life for their ********. I took the Vincent Thomas bridge home every night during the "Gray Davis Bridge Scare" in '01... It wasn't even the shortest way home. **** em'

Not critcising the messenger, just questioning the source of the message...

I wouldnt put this sort of **** past the other TV stations in town...

i saw it on ch11 and on ch 4 .......no specifics....just said 3 mall near the federal building in west l.a ......so stay in burbank.......it was breaking new at ten o'clock..........

LOS ANGELES -- Federal officials have warned the L-A-P-D about an unspecified potential threat to a Los Angeles area mall and say an attack may have been planned for Thursday.

The L-A-P-D released a statement saying the information is uncorroborated and the credibility of the source is unknown.

No specific shopping mall was named, but the warning indicated a mall near the Federal Building in West Los Angeles could be targeted.

The L-A-P-D says it will increase patrols at shopping malls in the city and has asked mall operators to beef up their security while a joint terrorism task force investigates.

F-B-I spokesman Matt McLaughlin said the source of the information was of "undetermined reliability." But he said authorities are obligated to aggressively investigate all threats they can't immediately dismiss.

They keep showing shots of the Westside Pavillion on Pico. They said it got threats because it's near the federal building in Westwood. Who goes to malls anyway?

 

Yea, I think the terrorists ought to level all the malls in the US. That way our wives won't be able to spend our hotrod money on junk.

 

Considering what I do for a living, it's funny I get this report off the HAMB first...

 

And I thought I was the only one that hated malls. I won't live in fear of threats like this. If I did I would have gas masks and fallout shelters in my trunk.

Don't live in constant fear of this stuff. I live about 15 minutes from where the WTC used to be, and I sure as hell ain't scared of this kind of thing happening again when they put out an 'advisory' on the news.

been there...done that..took the picture. this is a picture I took...I was giving a cisco seminar at 1 penn plaza.

I was a little paranoid to take the subway for a while, but figured I wasn't going to let it take over my life.....

i must say...this sounds like an episode of "24" or something though.

 

caffeine, that pics just gave me goosebumps....i aggree dont live in fear BUT be aware .....and most important never forget..........
