Hi I am trying to find history on this ex drag car. It was uncovered in the Detroit area this summer. What I was told, it had the same owner for 40+ years and it was covered in a barn for the last 20+ years. It was purchased from the original owners widow. Any help would be appreciated.

Im getting questions on the truck in the background so theres a couple pic's..it's called the B Line Special,it's a rat project that got away from me and it has 100's of handmade pieces ..it's going to be in most of the old school mags,Rod and Custom did a feature on it and it should out in a couple months

That is a once in a lifetime find for most hot rodders. What a cool part of hot rod history to own and care for. Thanks for posting here so we all can see. Steve

heck yeah! there was a old crank-start car (no idea what it was) sitting in a barn close to where i live when i was little that i always use to play on, and here recently it sold for more than 20,000.... so it must have been important.... i would love to still have it around!

    Killer find!

Well congratulations! I figured Thom or Dan would have mentioned it to me, but I guess it's been a week or so since I talked to either....

    What are your plans?

No help here but looking at how the exhaust runs off the dump tubes/cutouts I'd say it might have seen a little street time...
