Welcome....Isn't there a serial killer nicknamed 59Impaler???....Apparently he stabs his victims 59 times in the wrist due to his carpal tunnel syndrome that McDonalds won't cover in their medical insurance....I bet HE doesn't call them "Freedom Fries"!!!!...(ouch ouch ouch ouch...etc.)
Lonnie, The computer isn't that big a deal, you'll get it worked out. Like to see the five nine. Hope Josh hooks you up soon. Please make sure he PMs me the link, just in case I miss the post. OH and BY the way, Welcome friend, The PKnBner
Alright already. Jeez, I take a couple hours off the HAMB and I get way behind. I've got a couple pics from going to get the '54 and you all have probably seen his '59 parts car in the cl***ifieds. I will head down to Des Moines this weekend to get pictures of the '59 2-dr and "The Van". I didn't end up having to work down in Des Moines and I've got tomorrow off so I probably won't get there til Saturday. Maybe we can hit Porky's if it's not too ****py out. Here's a pic after we loaded the car up. Hope the glare doesn't blind anyone.
Even though he didn't mention it here's pics of the summer project from 2 years ago. 1948 Chevy we picked up from my great-uncles house. Before
WHY in the hell can't anyone fill out their profile...Lon, you hidin' from something? Hundred thousand dollar (and up) show cars are works of art...I don't get off on them either, but I like to look, and learn...YOU could learn something from them if you'd just open your eyes... As far as I'm concerned 100% bone stock cars **** ***...WHY would anyone want to do that to one of those...oh wait, I see it now...you want to maybe get your car in the latest issue of Custom STONESTOCK Rodder...hate to tell you this Lon, you'll need some 20 inchers on it tho... All in all, the intro was adequate, so, FWIW, welcome to The House of HAMB. R-
Just so you guys know that's not the finished product with the '48, it just sold before he finished it. And Studedude, read what he wants to do to his '54, it's gonna' be chopped and dropped. You guys want people to list their cars so he did. And FWIW Lonnie has one of the nicest '59's I've ever seen. Hey Lonnie get Kathy to scan a pic of your '59 and e-mail it to me. I will post it for you if you can't figure out how or give me a call and I'll guide you through it.

[/ QUOTE ] OK '53Cheb...I did read it, don't miss much...and more power to him...I just can't figure the attraction to a stone stock '59 Chebby anymore than I can figure the attraction to a '32 Ford or any other square-bodied car...WHY would you want a car to look like a car everyone else has? Yep, he did list his cars...and I did say that his intro was good (becuz of the other things he listed as well)...he's the one that said $100,000 cars **** ***...his opinion/my opinion! R-
