Just wondering if anyone has been able to buy this film from the AHRF? I tried to do a bulk order (50 copies) about 2 months ago, got one reply and then nothing. I chased it up with another email, but then nothing. Does this film exist? Is the AHRF a functioning en***y or has it gone belly-up? Maybe I scared them with my order....? Or they thought I was Nigerian!
I also tried to join and get a copy of the Duece dvd back in June even sent them a US address as requested several emails later nothing . Sent them another email 2 weeks ago still nothing. Does any one know whats ging on ??
Hey Wayne, I ended up buying a copy of the Deuce and Alex Xydias DVD off ebay due to a previous email to AHRF that I didn't get a reply to. Henry Astor I believe is a HAMBer and has the "AHRF" handle so maybe shot him a PM. BTW both DVDs played fine on my DVD player as well. Cheers Jamie
I am beginning to wonder also if there is trouble. I know you can get that DVD from So-Cal Speed Shop, hook up with JimA here.
Thanks guys. It was Henry that replied to me initially, but never heard back again, or from his cohorts that he 'cc into the email. It's a little late now though....I wouldn't be buying 50 copies at this point, as the '32 celebrations have all ended here, so probably just one for myself, if at all, as I've had to move onto other gear, like the Dreams Of Legends 4-disc set. One man's loss is another's gain, I guess!
So you all know, I think Henry is not working there full time any longer. Don't know what the story is, but when I saw him he said he was going to be working on some do***entaries with the AHRF, but not going to be the director any more. All that said, I got my order, but it was only one disk. Oh, I think the foundation is still around, just won't be the same with out Henry.
Same here. I joined AHRF in July and had no problems getting the DVD. It's worth every penny, too !!!!! I think I saw somewhere that they are moving to Greenwich, Ct?
