Has anybody every shipped a car from Michigan to Wisconsin? Are there any companies that specialize in it? What ports do they use?
these would be the ports... any auto transport in michigan would take care it i would imagine. They could easily drive the car there and fly back and make a few bucks. http://www.lake-express.com/ and http://www.ssbadger.com/
The Ludington, Mi. car ferry goes to Manitiwoc, Wis. We took it this summer and the rate is based on number of p***engers, vehicle, trailer, or whatever. There were motor homes, semi's, and a guy was trailering a 38 Ford behind his truck. The rate for two p***engers and a car was just over $300, round trip. Phone number is 800-841-4243.
wow, i thought it would be more expensive, maybe in the $500 range. But those prices aren't bad. Although I would like to find a company that sails from northern Michigan to the Green Bay area.
You have two choices. Muskegon to Milwaukee or Ludington to Manitowoc. Is this for a running or non running car? If non running I have my doubts that they would do it. The Ludington ferry would be the most likely if a non runner
Yeah! Specially when you hit Gary, IN and all those other lovely little neighborhoods south of Chi-town.
