Just think that if only 1/4 of all of the HAMB members posted only 1 time in one day you'd never get through all of the posts and become very digruntled over the thoughtless posts.

I dunno, I actually sent $$ to a seller here with 2,306 post's after we had a deal and then got some story of the part being sold.

And the person cashed my money order, took weeks to return it and then tried to make it out as my fault.

So does it really matter how many damn post's a person has ???

This is it right here. The HAMB gets SO MANY hits that the search engines are all over it.

Since the search engines are all over it, anyone who does a search for anything hot rod or parts related will find the HAMB. Then they find what you are selling and have to register to pm you or see your email address if you didn't post one. (posting your email or phone number is not a good idea).

    That's where it comes from.

Keep in mind some of the best people here, hall, all of the best people here were at zero post count at one time. I think Satan was there twice since we had a "tiff". :D

Just be careful how you go about it and it will be all right.

Too bad you can't justtrust people anymore.

i hardly look in the classifeds anymore since it was opened up to the general public (i.e no post hambers) i think most are goldchainers trying to push their high dollar shit seems like alot of finished cars and very little traditional hot rod parts like the stuff i need so i hardly look anymore athough i still do. just not as much

and as far as the harshness of the hamb. geez the hamb is weak on the harshness compairded to when i was lurking back in 04' seem's like now no one wants hurt anyones feeling's. i liked the old hamb cause it keeped the dumb asses out like the ratrod boys and boyd wannbes

Well, I certainly don't have many posts. However it has nothing to do with the classifieds as I don't look at them very often. I enjoy reading the tech articles and the progress reported on members cars and I just don't have a lot to say. I think there must be many like me that just hang out and keep our opinions to ourselves. By the way I joined the alliance because it seemed like the right thing to do ( to help support something that I believe is important) I do use alliance vendors every time that I can, but it's not all about the discounts.
