Okay. I came into this group with plans to build that '23 T Bucket I've always wanted, but I've changed my mind. Lets just say that my taste has matured during the short time I've been here. This my first post since asking a stupid question that should have earned me an ass eating for inadequate research prior to posting. My ass stayed intact, but I found a thread in which some other poor bastard took a spanking for asking virtually the same question a day or two before. I felt his pain, and I promise never to sin again. Anyway, I've found a pretty good deal on a '39 Ford pickup, and got to wondering how one of those would look as an RPU. If anyone has some pictures of such a vehile, I'd sure like to see them. By the way, I've done quite a bit of searching without any luck. Thanks.
These trucks are so handsome as is from factory, slight mods just make them look more bad ass. There was a thread on here this morning about hot rodded NOT bobbed early Ford trucks that had some incredible shots. Of course, if that isn't your thing, there was a post yesterday by a gnetleman who has done amazing rpu things to a 41 Chevy... Keep flipping back pages until you have read and browsed both of these threads and keep us posted on your ideas. Good luck.
Well heres mine... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209446 Gigantor, this might be the one your talking about. If its not, let me know about the other thread because id love to get some more ideas for the cab. And if the trucks really nice, like no damage to the roof, keep the truck intact. Dont go chopping off the roof because you want to. If you really want a roadster, find a truck like mine. John
